Smarter and more sustainable urban management in Águeda
Optimising urban mobility is one of the major challenges faced by smart cities. It is essential to integrate different data sources into a single platform and provide real-time information. The Municipality of Águeda turned to Ubiwhere to address this challenge and improve both urban mobility and municipal services.
Our solution
The solution developed by Ubiwhere integrates and harmonises data from external sources and urban components, with a particular focus on mobility. Featuring a flexible and scalable architecture, the platform was designed with the capacity to expand and include new domains as the municipality evolves.
The Urban Platform functions as a data hub, enabling integration, analysis, and the generation of insights to support informed decision-making. Through the platform, municipal managers gain a detailed view of urban mobility, enhancing day-to-day territorial management.
The project encompassed a wide range of features, from real-time ecological footprint calculation to informative dashboards and responsive interfaces accessible across multiple devices.
The solution provides comprehensive municipal management capabilities, real-time communication with citizens through the “ÁguedaUrbanPlatform” mobile app, interactive information panels, unlimited geographical accessibility, device-adapted solutions, and thematic dashboards for data-driven decision-making.
